<p>PURPOSE: To massively obtain astaxanthin useful for deepening the colors of fishes by adding a drying stress to a green alga belonging to the genus Haematococcus pluvialis to stimulate the production of the astaxanthin. CONSTITUTION: A drying stress is added to an alga (Haematococcus pluvialis NIES-144) belonging to the genus Haematococcus pluvialis and capable of producing the astaxanthin. Thus, the shift is induced, and the content of the astaxanthin is increased. When the above-described alga is immobilized on get beans and subsequently subjected to a drying stress, the content of the astaxanthin can arbitrarily be controlled.</p> |
