PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on a method of connecting separation wall penetration type cells of a mono-block type lead acid battery, wherein elimination of a sink, generated at a welded part under mechanical and electric conditions when electrically welding terminal parts connecting cells to each other at the inside of a through-hole, is not sufficiently effective. SOLUTION: The terminal parts are electrically welded through the through-hole of the separation wall by heating it at a temperature just under the melting point of the lead alloy constituting the terminal part, and by cooling it afterwards. Preferably, heating temperature is 200 to 300°C, and heating period is 30 minutes to 2 hours. The method is especially effective for the terminal part composed of lead-calcium-tin group alloy.
