PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition having an excellent bactericidal activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, multiple drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis and atypical mycobacteria. SOLUTION: This medicine contains 2,3-dihydro-6-nitroimidazo[2,1-b]oxazole compound expressed by general formula (1) [wherein, R<SP>1</SP>is H or a 1-6 alkyl; (n) is an integer of 0-6; and R<SP>2</SP>is OR<SP>3</SP>(wherein R<SP>3</SP>is H, a 1-6C alkyl or the like) or the like], and the oxazole compound has the excellent bactericidal activity against the Mycobacterium tuberculosis, multiple drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis and atypical mycobacteria.
