<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver's intention reporting device which surely informs, from a running vehicle, a pedestrian that the driver of the vehicle intends to give preference to the passage of the pedestrian (crossing) over the passage of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The driver's intention reporting device 100 detects a driver's behavior by a driver's behavior determination part 110 in response to detecting a pedestrian by a pedestrian detection part 300 and determines driver's intention to the pedestrian on the basis of the driver's behavior acquired by the driver's behavior determination part 110, and the device 100 displays guidance display prompting the pedestrian to cross a road, on a display part 500 in the case that it is determined that the driver intends of give preference to crossing of the pedestrian over the passage of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
