PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce load, such as the input work at an acquisition destination address by a viewer and the confirmation of an inputted address, when acquiring the detailed information and related information of content displayed on a display by utilizing a portable communication terminal. SOLUTION: In an information distribution method, content is distributed from a content distributing device to a content outputting device, the acquired content is outputted from the content outputting device that has acquired the content onto the display, the distribution of the related information is requested from the communication terminal of the viewer who has seen the content outputted from the display to a device for distributing information related to the content, the requested related information is distributed from the device for distributing the related information to the communication terminal, and the output of the content onto the display is controlled according to the operation of a person (viewer) standing in front of the display.
