PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place an assembly formed by integrating a case of a disk driving mechanism to an outer housing as a main chassis, thereby making it possible to assemble mechanism parts, a disk tray, etc., of a disk driving mechanism to the main chassis. SOLUTION: The disk driving mechanism 2 which is built in with the mechanism parts 2 necessary for subjecting the disk to optical processing into the casing 4 and is equipped with the disk tray 20 for carrying the disk D in and out is housed within the housing 1. The casing 4 of the disk driving mechanism 2 is integrally molded of a synthetic resin together with a bottom plate 11 of the outer housing 1 and the case 2 and main chassis 10 to which the mechanism parts is attached with the bottom plate 11 and the casing 4 is formed.
