This invention refers to a sealing device belonging to the field automotive spare parts, particularly a sealing device provided with a main PTFE sealing element (11) originally provided with a thin layer of rubber type material (20), enough for sealing the eventual interstices defined between the sealing surface of the PTFE element (11) and the surface to be sealed (1) for preventing air passage (30) during the engine sealing test, in which the sealing device is applied, which test is made with air injection into the engine.
