The rotary drive (14) is designed to compensate for, or to tolerate axial movements of the casing (12). The roller is turned by the drive acting on clamping discs (16) on both edges of the casing. The casing can be displaced axially by the discs, through about +- 50 mm. The discs are driven externally or internally. The rotary drive (14) comprises motors (18) on both the driving- and driven sides. It comprises one or more electric motors, stub shafts, couplings (20) and/or splined shafts (22). Further details of the drive and coupling arrangements are elaborated.
