An electrolytic capacitor is of the type comprising an anode incorporating a relief surface and a dielectric material (7) coating, such that an electrolyte (4) adapts itself to the relief. The relief surface of the anode is realised in a carbon material (3) and the dielectric material forms a carbon passivated layer. An independent claim is also included for the production of this electrolytic capacitor.
