PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more efficient welding technique by utilizing an induced current due to change of a magnetic field as a constitution for heating the joining portion of a workpiece. SOLUTION: The welding tool comprises: a body 300 having a rotating axis 210 and having a protrusion 205 for generating friction when contacting one or more workpieces among the workpieces to be joined; and a magnetic field generating unit 390 attached to the body 300 that generates a magnetic field outside the body 300.
