PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal test method capable of accurately testing the seal state of a seal part by sending current to an aluminum foil layer inside a package forming paper cups and measuring capacitance. SOLUTION: The seal test method tests the seal part S of paper cups made by forming a package layering an induction material and a conduction material. The invention contains a dissection process (S101) for dissectioning a paper cup so as to separate into two regions partitioned with a seal part S, a capacitance detection process (S102) for sending current to the conduction material in the two regions and detecting the capacitance of the seal part S, and a seal state judging process (S103) for judging the seal state of the seal part S based on the detected capacitance.
