FIRE PROTECTION STRUCTURE FOR VENTILATING OPENING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire protection structure for a ventilating opening suppressing intrusion of flame into an interior of a building from the outside during a fire even when the ventilating opening is large. SOLUTION: A fire resistant metal plate 5 having a multiplicity of through holes 54 is provided in an outdoor side of the ventilating opening 4, and a shielding plate 6 of a material capable of maintaining a shape for a certain time during a fire is provided in an indoor side of the ventilating opening 4.
