PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information delivery system and an information delivery method with which information can be delivered depending on the specification of an information terminal owned by a user and the information can be delivered with a form of content data suitable for the user. SOLUTION: The information in a Web server 30 is processed by an information delivery portal server 10, based on resource information 131 and processing storage information 141, and is delivered to a user PC 20 from the information delivery portal server 10. A terminal resource investigation means 13 is equipped with a terminal resource investigation program 130 and the information delivery portal server 10 can capture the resource information 131 from the user PC 20 without holding the resource information for the user PC 20 in advance.
