PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small planing boat capable of improving traveling performance, and riding comfort of an operator by detecting a posture of a hull and controlling an engine or a movable tab and the like accordingly. SOLUTION: This small planing boat comprises posture detecting sensors (inclination sensors) 5A, 5B detecting a posture of a hull 1, a propelling force changing device 40 changing a propelling force given to the boat to control the posture of the hull 1, and a control unit (ECU) 30 controlling the propelling force changing device 40 to mitigate change of the posture of the hull 1 according to the posture of the hull 1 detected by the posture detecting sensors (inclination sensors) 5A, 5B.
