<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container for eggs boiled in hot spring waters which has sufficient strength to prevent damage of the eggs during a distribution stage as an article only with a container body and a lid formed as a single product by technically devising the structure and shape of the container body and the lid, and which can be used as a simple dish outdoors, in a vehicle or in a train without carrying a cup for soup or meal. <P>SOLUTION: The egg container has, as basic components, the container body 1, the lid 2 covering the upper part of the container body 1, and a coupling bend 3 for foldably coupling both parts 1 and 2. The bend 3 includes a narrow part 31 capable of twisting and rotating 180° with the bend 3 as an axis and is formed in such a length that the lid 2 can be overlaid doubly in the container body 1 when twisted and rotated.
