PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood separation filter unit capable of separating quickly blood into hemocyte and a plasma or serum component, hardly generating hemolysis, and capable of obtaining thereby clean plasma or serum. SOLUTION: In this blood separation filter unit 1, an inside is pressure-reduced, the second container 4 is stored in the first container 2, a blood separation filter 5 is stored in an upper side of the second container 4, and a hemocyte stop filter 6 is stored in a lower side thereof, and a route is formed to communicate serum in a lower part of the hemocyte stop filter 6 or a serum storage part 4k, and a space 7 between the hemocyte stop filter 6 and the blood separation filter 5, by a cut-out part 4j, in the second container 4.
