PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the grain moisture measuring instrument of a grain drying machine capable of ensuring the measuring condition related to succeeding grain by eliminating the stagnation of grain in a pressure crushing roll electrode and capable of suppressing the error from an aspect of the measurement of moisture due to the stagnation of grain by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The grain moisture measuring instrument is constituted of a pair of pressure crushing roll electrodes 5 and 5 for crushing grain G under pressure to measure the moisture value thereof and a data processing part 11 for calculating the moisture value of the grain on the basis of conversion processing and averaging processing of the measured moisture value. A transverse deep groove 21 for taking in the stagnated grain is formed on the peripheral surface 5a of at least one of the pressure crushing roll electrodes 5 and 5 and an angle sensor 15 capable of detecting the angle-of-revolution position of the transverse deep groove 21 is provided and, when the transverse deep groove 21 is present at the angle position of an electrode gap narrow part M by the angle sensor 15, the measured value received by the data processing part 11 is excluded to calculate a grain moisture value.
