<p>The air contaminated with particles removed from the lens during the process of machining or polishing its outer edge is sucked into the device and guided through a duct (11) into the dust separation unit (12). The unit (12) is assembled of a receptacle (13), a dust filter (2) and a lid (15). From there the air is guided by the low pressure created by a fan (19) through a filter for the removal of the odor (17, 18) positioned above the dust filter (2). The dust separation unit (12) can be pulled out like a drawer and safely moved to an appropriate place for being disposed of.</p> |
