PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a highly-accurate measurement result in a tire testing machine having a spindle device 2 for holding rotatably a test tire T and provided with a detector 29 capable of measuring a load generated from the test tire T to the spindle device 2. SOLUTION: The detector 29 is fixed to the spindle device 2 by inserting a preload bolt 23 into a mounting hole 30 provided through the center part thereof, and the preload bolt 23 is provided with a coolant passage 40 having a hollow corresponding domain passing at least the inside of the mounting hole 30 of the detector 29, and a coolant can be supplied into the coolant passage 40.
