PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely dry dried objects without browning and melting the dried objects made of various materials, damaging buttons, metal fittings or the like attached to clothing or the like by generated heat, and causing ignition in drying the clothing or the like by utilizing microwaves generated from a magnetron. SOLUTION: The electric power of microwaves generated from the magnetron is controlled to achieve electric field strength of 1,500 [V/m] or less to the dried object of dielectric loss tangent tanδof 0.1 or more and less than 1.0, electric field strength of 5,000 [V/m] or less to the dried object of dielectric loss tangent tanδof 0.01 or more and less than 0.1, and electric field strength of 9,000 [V/m] or less to the dried object of dielectric loss tangent tanδof 0.001 or more and less than 0.01, and this drying method is dried to the dried object to apply the microwave which is controlled by the electric power.
