FIELD: domestic equipment, in particular, thermally isolating bottles for food products. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves applying layer of viscous polymeric binder onto shell and fixing the latter in casting mold; filling space defined between shell surface and casting mold surface with foamable thermally insulating material, followed by hardening of said material; disassembling casting mold and, thereafter, attaching round plastic plate to thermally insulating bottom; forming casing from composite material by putting tubular plaited carcass onto thermal insulation; fastening ends of carcass to neck part and to bottom plate; impregnating carcass with low-viscosity polymeric binder and hardening. During forming of casing, ready or prefabricated tubular plaited carcass may be used, said carcass being made from high-strength threads, for example, from fiber glass threads. Ends of carcass are fastened by winding high-strength polymer binder-impregnated threads under carcass. Also, thermally insulating layer may be produced from rigid and thermally stable thermosetting plastic, such as phenol-formaldehyde resin. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation of thermos bottle, in particular, under camp conditions, owing to increased strength and rigidity of parts and connection into integral construction. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg |
