PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interval/space measuring tool for quickly determining preferable ridge width, stock interval, ridge height or seeding interval/space, and the like, for each variety of plants such as vegetables. SOLUTION: This measuring tool 18 is such one that a plurality of cultivation data regarding interval/space including ridge width and stock interval effective for cultivation for each plant are described by a predetermined method as practical dimensions on the surface of an indication part. In this tool, the method for indication comprises representing the practical dimensions as given band lengths or spacings of dots or lines, wherein these dimensions are described expandedly while successively shifting the respective ends of the indications in the longitudinal direction of the indication part. Thereby, each indication part 7 for indicating a specific position is set so as to enable indication position to be changed, enabling a measurement position to be confirmed instantaneously.
