PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode device of a switch wherein opening and closing operation of the electrodes can be carried out with a light load applied without causing excessive bending in a coil spring provided to secure a contact pressure between electrodes. SOLUTION: In this switch wherein one end of two movable electrodes 20, 21 comprising parallel plates are rotatably supported and the other end is brought into contact with or parted from a stationary electrode 22 by the rotational movement of the rotatable electrodes 20, 21 to open and close an electric circuit, a connecting shaft 25 to connect the two movable electrodes 20, 21 is inserted in the center position with respect to its longitudinal direction (L), a nut 27 screwing between the head part of the connecting shaft 25 and the outside surface of the movable electrode 21 and the connecting shaft 25 and coil springs 26a, 26b disposed so that the movable electrodes 20, 21 mutually come close to the outside of the movable electrode 20 are provided, circular arc shaped protrusions 20c, 21c are provided at the part where the movable electrodes are brought into contact with an electrode supporting plate 23 on the inside surfaces of the movable electrodes 20, 21, circular arc shaped protrusions 20a, 21a are provided at the contact part where the movable electrodes are brought into contact with the stationary electrode 22, and the height of the protrusions are formed so as to have not less than 1/2 of the thickness of the stationary electrode.
