PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent illuminating device for microscope which has solid illumination used as illumination light source for fluorescence observation and is excellent in protection of sample, operability and power-saving. SOLUTION: Illumination light from an LED 4 as the illumination light source is guided onto a fluorescent sample S and the on/off of light of the LED 4 and the dimming of the illumination light can be controlled by a control part 13.
