PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which can simply and quickly separate a target solute, such as a protein, from a solution containing the solute without contaminating the solute with foreign matters and can simply and quickly prepare a sample for MS (mass spectrometry) analysis. SOLUTION: This fractionation apparatus is characterized by continuously setting a water-removing unit for removing the filtrate of a filtration unit for membrane-separating a biological ingredient or a liquid passed by an adsorption unit for adsorbing the biological ingredient to at least one unit selected from the filtration unit and the adsorption unit, and charging and sending a body fluid or a biological ingredient-containing solution into the filtration unit or adsorption unit from its upper side to fractionate the body liquid or the biological ingredient.
