<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for culturing a Dlk-positive cell in a state to keep multiple differentiation potency and high proliferation potency even after five days are passed from the start of the culture, and a cell that is derived from the Dlk-positive cell and differentiated into an endomorphic hepatocyte, a biliary epithelial cell and a pancreas cell. <P>SOLUTION: The method for culturing the Dlk-positive cell comprises culturing a Dlk-positive cell on laminin. The cell that is obtained by the method and is differentiated into the hepatocyte, the biliary epithelial cell and the pancreas cell is obtained. Since the Dlk-positive cell is excellently proliferated while keeping undifferentiated ability even after five days from the start of the culture, a large amount of an undifferentiated cell is cultured. The Dlk-positive cell cultured by the method is differentiated not only into the hepatocyte and the biliary epithelial cell but also into the pancreas cell, the Dlk-positive cell is useful for regeneration treatment of the liver and the pancreas and for preparing the artificial organs of these organs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
