<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for purifying sewage which hardly causes a drop of a contact member and a discrepancy of a position, and maintains a sewage purification performance for a long period though the contact member can simply be fixed on a frame, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus for purifying the sewage fixing a plurality of contact members comprising a core and a number of loop-like protrusions provided on the surface of the core in a treatment tank, the core is flexible, the contact member is wound around a rod-like fixing member provided with at least both the ends in the treatment tank and fixed, and the rod-like fixing member has a number of projected parts on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
