PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of extracting same color areas with high accuracy corresponding to various color images. SOLUTION: The image processor is constituted so that reading resolution with which color difference between the adjacent pixels obtained from an input image coincide most is individually acquired for each of three primary colors from a color difference table in which the maximum value of the color difference between the adjacent pixels is stored using luminance values and the reading resolution of colors as variables and the reading resolution of the input image is calculated based on the reading resolution of the three primary colors.
