PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component table directory capable of easily storing and managing components having hierarchical structure (parent-child relation) and capable of storing and managing the three-dimensional position relation of individual components independently of a CAD data file of these components. SOLUTION: A component table having hierarchical structure is stored in an LDAP database together with the information of the hierarchical structure, the three-dimensional position relation among components is stored by using an LDAP attribute, a composite component constituted of a plurality of components is prepared, and the LDAP is applied to hierarchical component table management so as to simply read out the composite component and its hierarchical structure.
