PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file foundation structure for a building and its construction method having purposes to prevent a soft layer from compressively deforming by settlement or declining of a building and preventing the support resistant body from breaking and reducing the settlement or the slant of the building, when a force resulting from earthquake vibration or the like is arized in a building adapting pile foundations in generation of an earthquake. SOLUTION: The total load of a building is supported by a pile support structure 8 having a supporting pile body 2, and a foamed resin disc 1 showing a compressive permanent strain within a required range is arranged below the building 5 in contact with a part of a pile support structure 8 and the soft layer 6, and thereby the foamed resin disc 1 is compressively deformed prior to the soft layer 6 to prevent the compressive deformation of the soft layer 6 and absorb forces like pressure or the like generated by vibration.
