PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device capable of confirming incoming mail content in a similar way to the case of an ordinary incoming voice call. SOLUTION: A read-out registration data YTD constituted of a mail address MAD and a keyword KWD is registered in advance. When the sender address of an incoming mail matches the mail address MAD in the read-out registration data YTD, and further the keyword KWD corresponding to the mail address MAD is included in the mail, a telephone number corresponding to the sender address is searched from an address book, which is then displayed onto a display unit 4 with an incoming mail notification. In response to an off-hook operation, the incoming mail content is speech-synthesized and read out.
