FIELD: analytical chemistry, ecology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determination of 1,4-dimethyldioxane (dimethyldioxane) in air. Invention proposes a method for determination of dimethyldioxane in air by its concentrating by using silica gel, the following eluation with ammonium aqueous solution, treatment of eluate with p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde solution and concentrated sulfuric acid followed by photometry. Before treatment with p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde eluate is subjected for babbling with gaseous nitrogen. Invention provides the development of method for determination of dimethyldioxane in air contaminated with highly volatile unsaturated (C1-C6)-hydrocarbons. Invention can be used in laboratories carrying out control of environment. ^ EFFECT: improved method for determination. |
