PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively constitute a calculator using one level sensor and one or two inclination sensors, and to accurately calculate a volume of a collected liquid even when an on-vehicle tank is elliptic-cylindrical, cylindrical, or approximately elliptic-cylindrical or approximately cylindrical near to elliptic or circular. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle tank collection amount calculator has the level sensor 17 for detecting a liquid level height in a transparent tube 19 serving as a liquid level gage for indicating the liquid level height that is a depth of the collected liquid in a rear part of the on-vehicle tank 18, the inclination sensors 8 for detecting an inclination angle of a horizontal table 22 serving as a reference horizontal face for a vehicle with respect to the global horizontal face, as a pitch angle and a roll angle, a motor 9 for moving the level sensor vertically along the transparent tube, and a central processing unit 101 for controlling the whole and conducting computation. The central processing unit 101 calculates a three-dimensional plane equation indicating a plane face of the collected liquid, based on the liquid level height and the pitch angle and the roll angle, and calculates the volume of the collected liquid, based on the three-dimensional plane equation and the elliptic or circular on-vehicle tank cross-section.
