COMPUTING SYSTEM HAVING A PLURALITY OF TYPE OF STORAGE NETWORK AND INFORMATION SETTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer system having a plurality of types of storage networks for setting valid information by using a network identifier.

SOLUTION: An identifier acquiring part 403 and a relay system information acquiring part 404 of a management computer 40 acquire information about the network identifier of a port and inter-port connection relation from a computer 10 and a protocol conversion type relay device 35. An identifier analyzing part 405 prepares the route of an identifier from each computer to a storage device. A setting content deciding part 406 decides whether the identifier route is independent of the identifier route of the other computer, or there is any shared route. A setting performing part 407 uses the identifier of the low order side port of a protocol conversion type relay system 35 or a generated logical identifier for information setting instead of the network identifier of the computer according to the decision.
