To operate the fuel injection for at least one cylinder, of an internal combustion motor, at least one actuator triggers the injection in two successive and programmed injection phases. The programming of the timing for at least one actuator gives the main injection at the next cylinder (A(Z+1)) with the after-injection at the actual cylinder (B(Z)).
