PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building and a construction method of the building, dispensing with reinforcement of a foundation part to be defense against the occurrence of an earthquake to thereby reduce the cost. SOLUTION: This building 1 includes: a foundation pile 11 buried in the ground 10; a pile main reinforcement 12 buried in the foundation pile 11 and disposed with the upper end thereof flush with the top face 13 of the foundation pile 11 or lower than the top face 13; a reinforcing bar 14 disposed within a predetermined range in the central part of the top face 13 of the foundation pillar 11and projected from the top face 13 of the foundation pile 13; a spacer 15 placed on the top face 13 of the foundation pile 13 and decreased in thickness by predetermined compressive force; a foundation part 17 provided at a space from the foundation pile 11 on the upper side of the spacer 15, in which the projecting part 16 of the reinforcing bar 14 is buried; and a skeleton body 18 provided on the foundation part 17.
