<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost dye-sensitized solar cell with energy conversion efficiency equal to one using platinum alone as a catalyst activating material of an opposing electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor electrode 3 carrying dyes 31 is provided at a transparent electrode made of a base material 1 and a transparent conductive layer 2, with an opposing electrode 5 arranged in opposition to the porous semiconductor electrode 3 through a charge-transfer layer 4. An electrode layer 6 arranged at the opposing electrode 5 on a charge-transfer layer 4 side, contains a carbon nano-material carrying a catalyst activating material 60, and the catalyst activating material 60 is carried by a layer composed of the carbon nano-material 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
