MOBILE NODE, MOVEMENT CONTROL NODE, PACKET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND MOVEMENT DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reachability of packet data by shortening the time required for the movement detection of a mobile node.

SOLUTION: The mobile node 2 comprises a data link layer connection establishment notifying section 202 for notifying establishment of connection with a link in a data link layer under Dormant state toward a network layer, a router information requesting section 203 for delivering a router request signal requesting an access router 3 existing on a connected access link 4 to send router advertisement information in response to notification from the data link layer connection establishment notifying section 202, and a network layer movement detecting section 204 for detecting a default router on the basis of the router advertisement information sent back from the access router 3 in response to the router request signal.
