PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excrement/urine separating toilet apparatus having a high separation efficiency of the excrement from the urine and non-complicating a route guiding the separated excrement and urine to an excrement tank and an urine tank respectively. SOLUTION: This toilet apparatus is provided with an excrement receiver 18 composed of a netted member and receiving excreta discharged through an outlet 16 of a toilet bowl bottom part 14, leaves the excrement, or a solid component in the excreta, on the excreta receiver 18, while drops the urine, or the liquid component, to the side of the urine tank 28 through meshes 22 of the excrement receiver 18 and forcedly shakes off the excrement left on the excrement receiver 18 to the side of the excrement tank 26 by the turning movement of the excrement receiver 18.
