A two-component developer for electrophotography comprising a toner, which contains at least a cycloolefin copolymer resin as a binder resin, and a magnetic material-dispersed resin carrier is disclosed. The toner may preferably have a Vickers hardness of not less than 19.0 HV 0.01 but not more than 23.0 HV 0.01. The binder resin may preferably contain 50- 100% by weight of the cycloolefin copolymer resin. An electrophotographic developing method using a two-component developer for electrophotography comprising a toner, which contains at least a cycloolefin copolymer resin as a binder resin, and a magnetic material-dispersed resin carrier is also disclosed.
