PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with which an appropriate amount of electrostatic charge can be stably maintained even in high-speed continuous printing and toner scattering can be suppressed and a two-component developer having such toner. SOLUTION: The toner contains a binder resin and a charge control agent, wherein the binder resin contains the polyester obtained by using fumaric acid and/or maleic acid as a raw material monomer and the charge control agent contains a metal compound of aromatic hydroxyl carboxylic acid (excluding an organic calcium salt) and the organic calcium salt, and the two-component developer contains such toner and a carrier.
