<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize thinning of a side light type lighting system. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system has a light entering body having a light entering part for entering light from a light source and a light emitting part for emitting light to a light guide body, and is so structured that a directional scattering layer for scattering light entered in a specific angle range is formed on the side opposite to the light irradiation side of a light guide plate; and the center angle of the specific angle range is tilted on the side where the light source is arranged with respect to a reference line vertical to an illumination surface of the light guide plate. In addition, the lighting system is so structured that the light guide plate is formed of a film substrate; and a pair of films are so mounted as to interpose the light emitting part of the light entering body and the film substrate to fix the light emitting part of the light entering body and the film substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
