PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart an odd number of turns to a phase winding constituted of a teeth root side take-out 2n layer winding system teeth coil. SOLUTION: The teeth coil 2 wound around each teeth 11 of a concentrated winding stator is wound by teeth root side take-out 2n layer winding system where a flat type wire of substantially square cross-section is wound from the root to the distal end part side of the teeth 11 and then returned back to the root part of the teeth 11. Turn of a second layer coil 22 is not wound on the start turn 1000 of the first layer coil 21 of the teeth coil 2, and the turn of the second layer coil 22 on the turn next to the start turn of the first layer coil 21 constitutes the final turn 2000. Consequently, an odd number of turns can be imparted suitably in the teeth root side take-out 2n layer winding system. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
