PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a clamper clamping a disk thin and to prevent the problem that a turntable falls at the time of a drop, which is caused by making it thin. SOLUTION: A disk unit has the clamper and the turntable which have a magnet and a yoke plate. A clamper holding member which is made of an elastic plate spring and holds the clamper is provided on an upper surface of a fixed plate which is provided above a traverse and has an aperture part allowing the clamper and the turntable to pass therethrough, so that a strong force is not applied to the turntable and the turntable doesn't fall though the traverse is displaced upward in the case of drop impact.
