PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft sealing member and a shaft sealing mechanism capable of reducing quantity of leakage from a clearance between each of divided parts, and to provide a large-size fluid machine provided with the same. SOLUTION: On a metal thin sheet 1 provided in an end 2x of housings 2a and 2b opposite to each other in the circumferential direction of a rotary shaft 6, a plurality of metal thin sheets 1x are laminated in the circumferential direction of the rotary shaft 6.
