<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clear picked-up image and improve efficiency in processing a picked-up image by restraining the movement of the hand which occurs when an image is picked up with a portable digital assistance. <P>SOLUTION: An information terminal is provided with; a processing part which controls each part; an image pickup instruction input part by which an operator instructs the information terminal to pick up an image; a timer part which delays time required from image pickup instruction detection to image pickup; and an image pickup part which picks up the image. The information terminal generates delay of prescribed time required from the detection of the image pickup instruction to image pickup.
