PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small camera module capable of being mounted on an electronic camera device with a camera, and controlling the direction of the camera freely rotatably. SOLUTION: The camera module consists of an imaging device 10; a first case 12 provided with a lens 11 disposed at a position opposing the imaging device 10, and having the shape formed of a spherical surface body; a second case 14 having a hollow portion and an internal side surface 13 of the hollow portion forming a part of the spherical surface body; and a wiring substrate 15 having a wiring pattern formed thereon. The first case 12 is rotatably held inside the hollow portion of the second case 14, and the second case 14 has a rotation control means 16 for controlling and rotating the first case 12.
