PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of making the lower face of a whirling body and the upper face of a valve seat adhere closely and completely by devising a shape of the contact face of a valve body and the whirling body to stabilize spraying performance and flow rate performance. SOLUTION: This fuel injection valve is provided with the valve body 3 having a hollow cylindrical shape, a valve seat 5 provided at one end of the valve body and having an injection hole 4, a needle valve 6 moving in the valve body 3 and coming into contact with the valve seat 5 and leaving it to open and close the injection hole 4, and the whirling body 7 provided by abutting on a face on the inner side of the valve seat 5 and having a through hole 7a in which the needle valve 6 slides to give whirling movement to fuel flowing into the injection hole 4. An annular projecting part 7b is formed on an outer peripheral face opposing to the slide face of the whirling body 7 with the needle valve 6 and pressed into the valve body 3 to mount the whirling body 7.
