PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor drum for an image forming apparatus, which is improved so as to obtain high image quality while having a simple structure. SOLUTION: The photoreceptor drum for the image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor drum body 21 and a photosensitive film 23 attached to an outer circumference of the photoreceptor drum body 21. The photosensitive film 23 is wound around the outer circumference of the photoreceptor drum body 21 to have an overlapped portion of a predetermined width at both ends 23a and 23b thereof. It is preferable that a receiving groove 41a of a predetermined depth for receiving the overlapped portion of the photosensitive film 23 is formed on the outer circumference of the photoreceptor drum body 21. The receiving groove 41a is formed in a longitudinal direction of the photoreceptor drum body 21, in a direction parallel to the axial direction, or in an oblique direction deviating from the axial direction.
