PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition for adhesion that has high adhesion strengths, particularly is excellent in adhesion strength to metals. SOLUTION: This resin composition for adhesion comprises (A) a polyvinyl butyral resin that has a solution viscosity of≤30 mPa s at 20°C, when the resin composition is dissolved in a mixed solvent of ethanol/toluene=1/1 (weight ratio) to prepare a solution containing 10 wt.% solid component, (B) a polyvinyl butyral resin that has a solution viscosity of≥500 mPa s at 20°C, when the resin composition is dissolved in the mixed solvent of ethanol/toluene=1/1 (weight ratio) to prepare a solution containing 10 wt.% solid component, (C) a resol type phenol resin and (D) an epoxy resin.
